On a vibrant evening in Bangalore, Sake Mom India hosted a unique cross-cultural dining experience at Toscano, one of the city’s premier Italian restaurants.
Curated and led by Mika Eoka, Master of Sake and founder of Sake Mom India, the event brought together a carefully crafted 5-course Italian menu paired with 5 premium Japanese sakes — each chosen to highlight flavor harmony, balance, and storytelling in every sip.
In collaboration with the National Tax Agency of Japan and graced by the Consulate General of Japan in Bengaluru, the event was more than a dinner — it was a celebration of heritage, craftsmanship, and community.
Guests explored sake’s versatility beyond Japanese cuisine, enjoying surprising pairings with cheese, fried chicken, seafood, and desserts — all while learning about sake history, etiquette, and brewing traditions.
This immersive event marked the beginning of a sake movement in India, bridging cultures through curated taste and thoughtful hospitality.
